Cheesy Potato Bake

  Ingredients

Pounds of frozen chunk style or hash brown potatoes -- we prefer chunk style

Cup of diced onions
1
Can of cream of chicken soup
1
Pound of sour cream
1/2
Cup of melted margarine or butter
8
Ounces of grated sharp cheddar cheese

Salt and pepper to taste

Butter to coat the baking pan

You can use crushed cornflakes or potato chips as an option -- we don't use this
  Directions
 

Thaw potatoes for 30 minutes

  Mix all ingredients in a large bowl except he optional topping
  Coat a 9" x 13" oven safe dish with butter
  Pour the mixture into the buttered 9" x 13" oven safe dish
  Bake in oven at 350 degrees for 1 hour
